PANDA Fundraising Guidelines

  1. By submitting the agreement form, you can proceed with your event. PANDA reserves the right to withdraw authorisation to fundraise if after assessing the Event or Activity as described in the Form, PANDA deems that the Event or Activity is not suitable because:

    The Event or Activity does not support PANDA‟s mission
    The Event or Activity creates too much risk; or
    PANDA is not satisfied that all obligations (including insurances) are met.

  2. The Fundraising Agreement will only cover the period of time set out in the Form for the Event or Activity to take place.

  3. There are some restrictions in how you collect money for your Event/Activity. You must not collect money by:
    conducting a door-to-door appeal;

    Street collecting; or
    Telephone solicitation.
    You are responsible for obtaining permits if they are required for your event. You are responsible for any public liability or safety insurance that may be needed for your event.

  4. I agree that I will not approach any of the existing PANDA partners or sponsors listed on our website. I agree that I will approach my own contacts, sponsors, and supporters in the community if needed.

  5. I agree to the maximum extent permitted by law, to indemnify the PANDA, its employees, volunteers and all sponsors from and against all liabilities, claims, damages, suits, expenses, causes of action, injuries, losses or inconvenience of any description whatsoever arising in any way from the fundraiser/event that is the subject of this application.

  6. I agree that funds will be provided to PANDA within four weeks of the date of the event end date. Funds should be transferred to PANDA via our online donation form: panda.org.au/donate. I agree that I will not retain any part of the gross profits or other benefits received from the Event/Activity as a commission, wage or other fee. Once all payments have been processed, PANDA will issue an individual receipt for tax deductions to the person/organisation transferring the funds.

  7. I agree that I am not authorised to use the PANDA logo without prior approval of the PANDA. PANDA has a special "Proudly supporting PANDA" logo that can be used on your promotional materials. You must not use printed advertising material without approval from PANDA via info@panda.org.au. In your promotional material, you must be clear that the event is not conducted by PANDA:
    Authorised Usage:  ‘Proudly supporting PANDA’
    Unauthorised usage: ‘PANDA Ladies Lunch’ or ‘In partnership with the PANDA”.

  8. I agree that if asked how the money you collect for your Event/Activity will be used by PANDA, I will explain how the gross income made from the Event will be distributed. If required, PANDA can provide an explanation of how funds raised will be used to support expecting and new parents struggling with their mental health.

  9. I agree that if the media contacts me for information about PANDA I will contact the PANDA at media@panda.org.au. You are not authorised to speak on behalf of PANDA. You may however speak about your fundraising activity or event itself. Please also remember that it must be made clear to the public that funds being raised will be donated to PANDA and that you do not represent PANDA.
